Make your way to the Pinellas Park Senior Center (7525 59th St. N.) on Tuesday February 4th at 6pm for a Public Hearing on Community Development and Housing Needs.
Pinellas Park is in the process of developing an Annual Action Plan for FY 2020-2021. The purpose of this public hearing is to obtain public comment on needs in the community and provide an update on the City’s performance in meeting identified goals and objectives. Goals, objectives, and programs are being developed based on the primary objectives of the federal CDBG program and the vision for Pinellas Park as a place where all residents have the opportunity to live in decent neighborhoods with access to quality affordable housing, pleasing streetscapes and open green spaces, sound infrastructure, ample economic opportunities, convenient public facilities, and access to all the services vital to maintaining a safe and sustainable community. Primary areas of emphasis to meet the vision are neighborhood improvements, improving accessibility and availability to housing, community facilities, and strengthening neighborhoods through the redevelopment of blighted properties.
We hope you can attend the hearing. If not, we would appreciate your written comments concerning needs and/or program performance. Please send your comments to Tammy Hillier at 5141 78 Avenue, N., Pinellas Park, FL 33781 33756 or to email@example.com by February 28, 2020.
