The Pinellas Park Christmas Parade has been a tradition for many Pinellas Park families and the surrounding community since 1972. It is held on the 2nd Saturday each and every December. The parade steps off at 6:00PM at 58th Street (railroad tracks) and proceeds eastbound on Park Boulevard to The Shoppes at Park Place.
Parade Traffic Information
On Saturday, December 9th, the closure of the parade route will happen in the following sequence, please plan accordingly:
12:00 PM - Closure of EB Park Blvd begins at 66th St.
1:30 PM - EB Park Blvd is closed from 66th St. to 58th St.
1:45 PM - Closure of EB Park Blvd begins at 49th St.
2:15 PM - EB Park Blvd is closed from 66th St. to 49th St.
2:30 PM - EB Park Blvd is closed from 66th St. to 40th St.
Keep in mind, all Park Blvd cross streets are affected by the closure including 49th Street starting at 2:15pm, U.S. 19, 66th St. and Belcher Rd./71st St. will be the only alternatives in the area for going North or South.
The parade will begin at 6:00pm and roads will reopen once the parade and cleanup is over.
