On Tuesday October 4th (5pm-8pm), the Pinellas Park Police Department is having their annual National Night Out event at England Brothers Park (5010 81st Ave. N.). There will be demonstrations including information from local law enforcement, fire department, and other agencies. This event will be a great opportunity to show your support for crime prevention. 

National Night Out is an annual event designed to strengthen our communities by encouraging neighborhoods to engage in stronger relationships with each other and with their local law enforcement partners. The goal is to heighten crime-prevention awareness, build support and participation in local anti-crime programs, and most importantly, send a message that our neighborhoods are organized and fighting back. It’s also the perfect opportunity to get to know your neighbors even better. 

National Night Out is designed to:
• Heighten crime and drug prevention awareness;
• Generate support for, and participation in, local anticrime programs;
• Strengthen neighborhood spirit and police-community partnerships; and
• Send a message to criminals letting them know that Pinellas Park neighborhoods are organized and fighting back.
