On June 4, 2003 at 2:16 a.m., the victim, Mark Reed, was struck in front of 7490 49 Street by a hit and run vehicle, as he crossed the roadway from the east side to the west side. Pinellas Park Police request help from anyone who might have witnessed the accident or have information regarding the driver of the hit and run vehicle. The suspect's vehicle was described as a maroon pick up truck, possibly an older model Chevrolet S10. The driver of the vehicle was described as a white male. The truck should have front end damage consistent with striking a pedestrian.

On March 17, 2005 at about 11:45 a.m., the body of the victim was located in the parking lot of 5001 Park Boulevard It was discovered the victim was struck at the 7500 block of 49 Street, while walking in or along the roadway, and possibly crawled to the location where he was found. The suspect vehicle was last scene heading northbound on 49 Street. It is unknown where the damage to the suspect’s vehicle would be. - Victim: Arthur E Maurer, white, male, 61
This case involves the hit and run of a pedestrian named Arthur Maurer. At approximately 6:30 a.m. on August 5th, 2005, Arthur Maurer attempted to cross 66th Street just south of the Park Boulevard intersection. Heather Forcier was driving her Red Chevy Cavalier southbound on 66th Street in the median lane. As she passed Arthur Maurer, her passenger side mirror struck him spinning him around. A white mini-van traveling behind Forcier’s Cavalier then struck Maurer head-on causing massive injuries to Maurer’s body. As Arthur Maurer laid in the roadway, both vehicles stopped at the scene. Heather Forcier exited her vehicle and remained at the scene. The driver of the white mini-van and a passenger both exited their vehicle to look at Maurer, but quickly re-entered their vehicle and left the scene southbound without providing anyone with their identity. Arthur Maurer was taken to Bayfront Medical Hospital where he died of blunt trauma to his head and torso sustained when the mini-van struck him
The driver of the mini-van was described by witnesses as a heavy set white female, late 30’s to early 40’s in age, shoulder length blond hair. She was wearing white shorts and a yellow shirt, with sandals. The passenger was described as a late teens to early 20’s, white male with blond hair, wearing a white shirt and black pants.
The mini-van was described as possibly being a white Toyota Sienna, with tan or gold trim around the bottom of the door panels. The tag had the digits IT9 or I9T possibly as the last three digits. The van would have had some front end damage or denting.

Silver Toyota Highlander - Similar Vehicle
On the above listed date and time, an unknown suspect struck the victim, Karri Bush, with a motor vehicle while she was riding her bicycle. The victim was launched to the roof and held onto the roof for over a mile before the suspect made a u-turn, throwing the victim off the roof onto the pavement. The victim suffered severe lacerations / fractures to her left leg which had to be amputated. Year, Make, and Model were identified from the vehicle’s front Grill which was left behind. An anonymous tip reports the vehicle was possibly repaired / being repaired in the Clearwater / Lakeview Road / Greenwood area. - Victim: Pamela Collier
- Vehicle Description: Silver in color
- Suspect Description: Unknown
On October 8, 2011 at approximately 2037 hours an unknown vehicle was traveling east on 78 Avenue approaching 66 Street. At that time Pamela Collier was riding her mobility assistance scooter south across 78 Avenue at 66 Street in the crosswalk. The unknown vehicle struck Collier and her scooter, launching her into the center of the intersection. The vehicle fled the scene in an unknown direction of travel. Witnesses were unable to give a vehicle description. Silver Metallic paint strips were found embedded in the right side of the scooter Collier was operating. The unknown vehicle is Silver Metallic in color at the front. It is not known if the entire vehicle is this color or not. Mrs. Collier died as a result of her injuries that night.
