The Pinellas Park Police Department receives frequent inquiries from local and national media outlets in reference to incidents, arrests, or other activity taking place within the city.
In addition, we understand that members of our community often have questions regarding police activity as well. The Chief of Police has designated several agency members for specialized training as Public Information Officers. These individuals shoulder the responsibility of communicating breaking news and information to the media and the public at large through formal media releases, television, radio, print media interviews, and now through the utilization of multiple social media platforms.
