Outdoor Amenity Rentals
The Parks and Recreation division oversees rentals of the following outdoor amenities.
The Helen Howarth Equestrian Arena is open to recreational riding during regular operating hours of the park. While use for private riding instruction is not permitted, the arena is available to rent for other private events and equestrian shows. Please reach out to the Leisure Services' Sr. Staff Assistant at 727-369-0671 to start planning your event to allow time for all necessary paperwork and preparation of the arena.
You can see details about each pavilion, check availability, and make rental requests for park pavilions online using WebTrack. Recreation staff at any center can assist you with navigating the software, as can the Leisure Services' Sr. Staff Assistant. Contact us if you're having trouble.
(For inquiries about the City's England Brothers Park and Bandshell, contact the Communications and Marketing Department at 727-369-5735 or email email@example.com.)
At present, our basketball, bocce, pickleball, tennis, and volleyball courts (sand) are not reservable and are open to all on a first-come, first-served basis. Please be courteous and share the courts with other users who have been waiting to play. The roller hockey rink located at the Youth Park Complex is available for rental if your group wishes to have a guaranteed time of play. Please call the Youth Park Recreation Center at 727-369-5758 to learn more.
Our city sports fields must be reserved to ensure adequate field preparation and scheduling of field lighting. Organizations wishing to rent fields must provide a Certificate of Insurance to cover potential injuries that players may sustain. Additionally, all organizations must provide proof that on site coaching staff hold current first aid and AED certifications. Please reach out to the Leisure Services' Sr. Staff Assistant for additional details and inquiries by calling 727-369-0671.
NOTICE 1: The fields at Davis Field will be eliminated in late 2023. No reservations are being accepted for use past October 2023. The area will become a new park complex that will not include organized sports.
NOTICE 2: Youth Park will be undergoing significant changes in 2024-25, and the existing fields will become part of a larger multi-field sports complex. The existing roller hockey rink will also be unavailable for some, if not all, of the transition period. In anticipation of these changes, new reservations for fields and the hockey rink cannot be promised past 2023. Future reservations will be based on the status of construction. We appreciate your understanding while the site is redesigned, demolished, and reconstructed.
